ABOUT THE SPACE
Babe's Bungalow is a one-bedroom condo unit that will comfortably sleep 6 (4-5 adults) and should have everything you'll need during your stay. The sleeping arrangements are 1 queen in the private bedroom, bunk beds in the hallway niche, and a full-size trundle sofa sleeper.
The grounds are well kept, with 2 large heated pools and an adult-only hot tub section. An event center is available with prior reservations for functions or gatherings. The views from the private 3rd-floor balcony are amazing and among the best across from the Galveston Seawall.
You can keep your vehicle on the premises and walk across to Babe's Beach at a signaled crosswalk. We provide a rolling cooler, beach towels, and some beach toys to use. Walmart and the 61st Street Fishing Pier are within a block or so of walking distance. Many restaurants, drugstores, and gas stations are within a mile's drive.
PARKING AND GUEST AMENITIES
Parking is plentiful offering covered spaces, spaces for large vehicles/trailers, and handicapped parking near the elevators. Guests will have access to two pools, hot tubs, a fitness center, and a lighted tennis court. There are self-pay laundry machines on the premises too. Please be aware that sometimes things beyond our control happen such as an elevator being out of order, a pool/spa needing to be sanitized, wifi, or cable TV being down, etc. We do not guarantee uptime for these conveniences.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
The condo management charges guests $35 per stay for up to 14 days and $70 for 15-30 day stays (extra charges may apply for over 2 vehicles), payable upon check-in. This fee covers admin, security, parking, and resort use expenses. The grounds are gated and private security monitors the area. The Staff is great, giving a personable experience, and can answer most questions about Galveston.
